THE DICTIONARY OF LOST WORDS: Pip Williams
THE DICTIONARY OF LOST WORDS
by Pip Williams
Based on historical fact and set during the suffrage movement, this is a tale about young Esme. Esme is ever curious and a lover of words, not unlike her father, a lexicographer working on the very first Oxford English Dictionary. She is spellbound by the words that don't make it into that esteemed tome. Coincidentally (or otherwise) so many of these words pertain to women and their situation. How can one tell their story when the words are not there?
