Bob Dylan's autobiography is one of the best I have ever read, and not because he exposes all his dirty secrets, my usual perquisite in a celebrity tell all, but because it so so well written, so funny and poetic.
Just as in life and in his music, Dylan retains his mystery. He gives the reader a beautifully fragmented self portrait, that both reinforces and undermines his iconic image, which for a Dylan fan like me, makes him all the more fascinating.
